You are very welcome to join our October monthly meeting. Stop by if you are in Dublin and curious about basic income. All heartily welcome.
Time: 6pm – 8pm, October 16th 2019
Place: Room 3-077 DIT Aungier Street, Dublin 2
The topic of this meeting is “Learning from Andrew Yang.” We would like to welcome you to a discussion on what we can learn from Andrew Yang’s run for the Democratic nomination for US President. Yang’s campaign, built on a universal basic income platform which he calls the “Freedom Dividend,” has brought the concept of UBI to mainstream American politics.
What is the secret to Yang’s success? What are the specifics of his proposed model? Could basic income become mainstream in Irish politics if an Irish political candidate or party chose to champion it?
We look forward to seeing you on October 16th, members and newcomers alike!
